My first name is from Hebrew and means “spring of water”. In IPA, it is /maʔa'jan/.
Growing up in an English-speaking environment, I adopted various anglicized versions of my name; if you know me by one of them, you are welcome to keep using it, though nowadays I am more used to the pronunciation given above.
The first half of my last name comes from my Filipino side, and the second half comes from my Israeli side. I pronounce the combination as though it is English, /æbə'ninə ə'dɑɹ/, but you're welcome to pronounce it like it's Tagalog-Hebrew, /abe'nina a'daʁ/.
